(RED) was created by Bono and Bobby Shriver, Chairman of DATA to raise awareness and money for The Global Fund by teaming up with the world’s most iconic brands to produce (PRODUCT)RED branded products. A percentage of each (PRODUCT)RED product sold is given to The Global Fund. The money helps women and children affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa.
- $50 could buy 416 single-dose treatments that help prevent transmission of HIV from mother to baby.
- $80 could buy six months of antiretroviral treatment for one person living with AIDS in Africa.
- In about 60 days, a person with HIV/AIDS in Africa can experience what we call the Lazarus Effect. It’s the result of just two pills a day of antiretroviral treatment. You can help make the Lazarus Effect come to life. Your choice of a Dell (PRODUCT) RED PC could provide more than six months of antiretroviral medication for someone living with AIDS in Africa.
- Now your choice of a PC can help change the world.

RED Products

this is great. at least some ppl are tring to help
looks like a big scam to me. instead of trying to sell and promote their products under using the suffering people why don’t these companies stop using manufacturing them using the children of these countries under low wages or even help in a more effective way.
people who buy these (red) products are buying them out of guilt. because a lot of people are being killed in these conditions and still the companies are trying to use them. is this red supposed to be referring to the blood of the killed. i wouldn’t be surprised to see Shell releasing a (red) petrol and you would think that Shell is so good, helping the poor africa while protecting their environment. what a shame. don’t fall in these traps. and don’t give them free publicity. this is insane. They pay large amounts to bloggers to advertise this product. and some do it for free. so sad to see people falling in these.
